Nathan Puffer
As Senior Vice President for Risk & Resilience, Nathan Puffer guides Dow Jones, The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s publications through a broad range of business and editorial risks supporting the company’s strategic objectives and the safety of its journalists and partners around the world. Before joining Dow Jones, Puffer led a national security firm focused on providing unique solutions to the US and foreign governments and private clients from the Americas, Africa the Middle East and Asia. After departing the United States military and attending university in Washington, DC, worked for a number of prominent think tanks where he focused on US policy toward Russian and Eurasia. He is a fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a graduate of Carnegie Mellon’s Chief Risk Officer program and served as a Globally board member for nearly a decade. Puffer remains active in the international relations community.
